Value Engineering Summit returns to Dubai on 15 April

The day-long event will share deep insights with delegates via three panel discussions, presentations, and workshops

The Middle East Consultant (MEC) team has announced the 2026 Value Engineering Summit (VE Summit) will take place on 15 April in Dubai, at a venue that will be announced at a later date.

The summit will run from 9am to 3pm and is expected to feature 3 panel discussions, revolving around key topics related to construction efficiency, true collaborative construction, avoiding disputes, and dispute resolution.

The day long event will discuss issues including a lack of stakeholder alignment, un-optimised designs and the impact it has on project delivery, material delivery delays, rising costs and scope creep, the MEC team noted. Registration is complementary but mandatory for industry professionals, click here to register.

In addition to panel discussions, the VE Summit will feature presentations and workshops hosted by key players within the regional built environment. Speakers profiles include senior professionals from local and international consultants, contractors and technology solution providers.

“In the Middle East projects can have protracted timelines, limited budgets and face supply chain issues, which means that efficient, proactive planning and project delivery is absolutely essential to ensuring successful project delivery. The 2026 Value Engineering Summit aims to highlight existing design and delivery challenges, and educate professionals on real solutions to ensure that a project is delivered without derailing budgets, reducing quality, adding to project timelines or moving away from the project’s original scope or vision,” said Jason Saundalkar, Editorial Director, Built Environment and Heavy Industry Divisions at CPI Trade Media.
