Volvo CE launches new global website
Company makes it easier to search for information on products, company news, images and videos
Volvo CE has launched its new global website following the recent roll-out of more than 120 dealer and market websites around the world.
According to a statement from the Swedish construction machinery giant, the new global website is the culmination of a project that enables the company’s online presence to be more valuable to customers, the media, jobseekers and other interested stakeholders.
In addition to providing product and service information, the global site also gives visitors an insight into the company’s long history, what Volvo CE believes in and the values at the core of the business, the company said.
“We wanted the new site to reflect the fact that Volvo CE is an innovative company, one that is approachable and the best business partner in the industry,” said Bill Law, senior vice president, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs, at Volvo CE. “I believe the new global website will attract a great number of visitors, helping us to engage more effectively with our audiences.”
The new website focuses on video and images and features a media area, where news and events are gathered in one place, allowing users to sort and filter press information by date and topic.
It also makes finding information on the current Volvo CE product range easier, along with archived information about older models that are no longer produced. If Volvo CE machine owners require more detailed information and support, the global website will direct them to a local Volvo website.
The new site, www.volvoce.com/global also provides information about further Volvo CE initiatives, such as the Volvo Ocean Race, Construction Climate Challenge and WWF Climate Savers programme, the company’s statement said.
