Swiss manufacturer rolls out new material handler and two excavator models
Swiss heavy equipment manufacturer, Liebherr Group has rolled out a material handler and two new excavators, featuring EU Stage 3B compliant engines.
The LH 80 M Litronic is the first model in a new generation of mobile machines developed by the company specifically for material handling applications. Powered by a 308bhp Liebherr engine, the machine features an energy recovery cylinder (ERC) as standard, which could contribute up to 107bhp of additional energy, according to Liebherr.
The 24-tonne R 924 crawler excavator is fitted with a 155bhp engine and features an integrated Liebherr excavator system technology that is based on ‘Positive Control’ hydraulics with a Liebherr electronic control system.
The manufacturer has also unveiled new 50-tonne class R 956tracked excavator, which has an engine output of 322bhp. All Liebherr’s new tracked excavators are also equipped with the LiDAT data transmission system, which provides remote access to specific machine data such as fuel consumption or service intervals.
