The Land picks Hill for tower project
US firm signs $2m deal to provide project management services for the construction of Porto Arabia Towers
Qatar’s Land Investment and Real Estate Development Company (The Land) has awarded global construction consulting firm, Hill International, a $2m contract to provide project management services for the construction of Porto Arabia Towers in Doha.
As per the agreement, The US-based firm is to manage the construction of four of the ten towers to be built as part of the Porto Arabia development on the Pearl Qatar artificial island.
Each 20-storey tower has a built-up area of about 33,000m2. The complex is a mixed-use development featuring 450 townhouses and low-rise terrace apartments, retail and commercial spaces, a 2.5km Corniche, and a 785-berth marina.
