Himoinsa holds product demonstrations in Egypt
Spanish firm showcases generators with extended running times and lighting towers
The Spanish portable power specialist, Himoinsa, held a demonstration show of its generator sets and engines in Egypt’s Red Sea resort city of Sharm el-Sheikh earlier this month, it said in a press statement.
The event was attended by more than 200 visitors, including representatives from Egypt’s National Electricity Company and National Organisation for Potable Water.
It was held jointly by Himoinsa and its Egyptian distributor Otrac, with the event dubbed Otrac Manoeuvre Days. Himoinsa demonstrated its HDW-120 T5 and the HYW-20 T5 generator sets.
According to Himoinsa, the HYW-20 T5 set is fitted with a Yanmar engine and features an integrated ATS, monitoring and remote control. Its 1000-litre tank allows it to run for up to 14 days without interruption. As with the other models in the Yanmar series, a kit can be added that extends the set’s maintenance periods to up to 1000 hours, thereby providing a reduction in running costs.
The company also showcased the Apolo Start AS4006 lighting tower which is able to withstand temperatures of up to 45 degrees Celsius. The lighting towers can operate for up to 70 hours non-stop – or for more than seven nights – without refueling, Himoinsa said.
Imen Sahbi, Himoinsa’s regional sales manager, said: “Himoinsa has been working in the Egyptian market for more than 15 years… Our relationship with Otrac began in 2012 and it has become an important partner for Himoinsa in Egypt.”
