Ros Roca launches Ros Roca envirotec Arabia

Multidisciplinary engineering firm Ros Roca has announced a “joint venture and strategic partnership” to form Ros Roca Envirotec Arabia.

The new entity, based in Jeddah will specialise in environmental engineering and construction services for both the public and private sector.

The aim of the new company is to introduce the most advanced technologies in the waste treatment field and to promote renewable energy from waste.

Specialist services will incorporate automated waste collection system installations – a sector in which the Spanish company has numerous projects in Europe. The company has developed waste collection systems for big developments as well as small installations for hospitals, airports, markets and residential buildings

“The Middle East, and in particular Saudi Arabia remains one of our most important and long term growth markets”, said Carles Torres, on behalf of of Ros Roca envirotec in the Middle East.

“As Saudi Arabia environmental awareness expands rapidly and the country we have identified an opportunity for Ros Roca to grow its capabilities by offering projects in the waste transportation and waste treatment fields”, said Carles Torres and affirmed that the arabian country is moving to a balanced and environmentally sustainable economy that will support strong business investment and new opportunities in order to be able to meet long term challenges.
