Dubai World Central confirms AED 350m investment in new logistics centre

Mohebi Logistics to build new HQ at Dubai Logistics City

Mohebi Logistics has announced a AEd 350m investment in a new head quarters and logistics centre at Dubai World Central (DWC).

The  1.5 million square feet site is surrounded by similar facilities owned by Aramex, Kuehne + Nagel, Panalpina, Hellmann Caliper, INL and RSA Logistics, among others. The total DWC plot spans 140 sq. Km.

Part of the company’s AED 1 billion investment to boost regional operations, the completed facility will comprise 110,000 pallet positions to expand storage and temperature controlled warehousing facilities, to be constructed in two phases.

“Dubai Logistics City supports the growing logistical needs of the region’s burgeoning business community,” said Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman, Dubai Aviation City Corporation.

“Furthermore, it provides direct access to a comprehensive range of state-of-the-art infrastructure and services and multi-modal transport within a centralized location at Dubai World Central. This creates the perfect environment for the logistics community to synergise and unlock fresh opportunities for business growth,” he added.
