Starwood Hotels & Resorts has announced the debut of its Four Points brand in Algeria, with the opening of the Four Points by Sheraton Oran.

Located close to the airport and overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, the hotel is situated in proximity to shops, restaurants, and the Mohamed Benahmed Convention Centre.

Four Points by Sheraton Oran marks Starwood’s fourth hotel in Algeria and its third property in Oran.

Owned by the Société d’investissement Hôtelière (SIH), Four Points by Sheraton Oran features 170 guest rooms, including 20 suites. The hotel also features five meeting rooms, a ballroom that can accommodate up to 350 guests, a fitness centre, sauna, Jacuzzi, rooftop pool and spa.

“Oran is an evolving city with good potential for business travel. Four Points Oran is a significant addition to our thriving portfolio in Algeria,” said Michael Wale, president of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Europe, Africa and Middle East.

Globally, over 200 hotels operate under the Four Points by Sheraton brand, which is on track to expand by nearly 60% over the next five years.
