A ‘One-Millionth Bobcat Loader’ model has been launched after the US-based machinery company hit the seven-figure production milestone after more than 60 years of sales.

A buyer in Spain was the first to buy one of Bobcat’s special-edition loaders, which feature a customised paint scheme commemorating the production feat.

The range incorporates features not present on other Bobcat machines, including black non-slip sheets on the lower rear struts, cushioned boom cylinders, and a specially designed two-tone leather air-ride seat.

Marcos Marín, the official Bobcat dealer for over 39 years in the Murcia and Alicante zones of Spain, announced that his company has sold the first of these commemorative loaders, an S650 skid-steer model, to Coysa Viguer S.L., an established customer operating mainly in the public-works market.

Bobcat produced its one millionth loader in 2014, more than 60 years after the first machine in 1958.
