Mouchel appoints Middle East transport director

Infrastructure and business services group appoints Imad Nassereddine as regional transport solutions business leader

Mouchel has appointed Imad Nassereddine as the regional transport solutions business leader for the Middle East, the infrastructure and business services group said.

He will be responsible for developing the group’s intelligent transport system offerings, transport planning, traffic management and asset management in the GCC region with a focus on Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the UAE.

Nassereddine had previously supplied strategic advice and direction on road asset management, operation and maintenance on many projects including Qatar’s ITS program when he worked with Ashghal, Qatar’s Public Works Authority.

With over 25 years of experience in North America and the Middle East, and across a variety of transport engineering and infrastructure projects, Nassereddine’s career has been largely focused on transport solutions.

Andrew Body, managing director of Mouchel Middle East, said: “Imad joins us with a wealth of technical knowledge and leadership skills. He has an impressive proven track record both in the Middle East and Canada and this coupled with his vision for our transport solutions business means. Imad will play an integral role in growing and further developing this side of our business.”

Mouchel has about 7000 employees worldwide, with Middle East operations accounting for around 400 staff.
