Emirates Transport wins $13m ENOC contract
Five-year contract for ENOC worth AED 50m
Emirates Transport has been awarded a $13.6 million (AED 50 million) five-year staff transportation contract for Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC). Emirates Transport has been providing staff transportation for ENOC’s Group of Companies including the ENOC Retail network for the past seven years.
Emirates Transport offers a daily fleet of 80 vehicles which undertake about 500 services daily to commute over 4,000 employees of ENOC across its different businesses.
More than 3,800 employees of ENOC Retail network, who work at the ENOC service stations and ZOOM stores are also transported in different shifts by Emirates Transport buses.
Saeed Khoory, CEO of ENOC, signed the agreement with Mohamed Abdullah Al Jarmen, general manager of Emirates Transport, at a ceremony held at the ENOC Headquarters in Dubai.
“Extending our partnership with Emirates Transport underlines our commitment to maintain and strengthen our relations with our long-term partners, “said Khoory. “This will bring greater value to our association through its seamless operational support to meet the requirements of our staff and operations.
“We are committed to offering the best in facilities to enhance the comfort and promote productivity of our employees. The strategic agreement also reflects of the vision of the Government of Dubai to foster stronger partnerships between governmental entities to provide high quality services to residents.”
Abdulsalam Al Hammadi, director of procurement and contracts of ENOC, pointed out the mutal arrangement between the companies – one providing staff transport, and the other fuel for the vehicle fleet.
“ENOC’s long-term relationship with Emirates Transport is a strategic partnership. It can be further strengthened by supporting each other in areas of mutual interest and business diversification. Emirates Transport uses the ENOC Retail network for fueling their vehicles, while ENOC has renewed the contract for staff transportation.”
Mohamed Abdullah Al Jarmen said: “We are delighted to have signed this latest agreement with ENOC, further extending our excellent working relationship. It highlights ENOC’s trust in our efficiency and our commitment to offer high quality services. We will continue to build on the partnership and offer value-added services to support ENOC in ensuring seamless operations across their diverse business sectors.”
On average, Emirates Transport undertakes over 175,000 trips to meet the requirements of ENOC’s various business units which function throughout the year without breaks. ENOC is one of the largest partners of Emirates Transport and the company relies on the services of the company for transporting its employees in other emirates including in Fujairah.
