Construction survey to chart industry pay

Construction industry expectations for 2015 under the microscope

A survey of Middle East construction professionals now live on www.bigprojectme.com/survey aims to deliver a snapshot of market expectations for GCC markets in 2015.

The survey will reveal whether salaries are keeping pace with industry growth, which countries in the GCC are most desirable to work in for construction sector professionals, and whether there’s optimism for pay increases and further growth in the sector.

It will also reveal whether the use of work practices such as BIM are on the rise, and the main challenges facing the industry in 2015, such as slow payments, lack of skilled workers, or rising raw material costs.

Participants have a chance to benchmark their company and individual performance against industry peers once the results are published.

“More than ever, construction in the Gulf is a competitive market. The Construction Intelligence Report (CIR) will provide key industry data about general trends, as well as a snapshot of salary growth and individual employee expectations,” said Raz Islam, Publishing Director of CPI Media Group.

The survey data will be published in January in the CIR, which will feature market data and reports from knowledge partners including EC Harris, Deloitte and Euromonitor International, as well as profiles of the individual GCC markets and interviews with industry leaders.

To take part in the survey, go to www.bigprojectme.com/survey. Participants go into a draw to win an iPad.

All responses will be treated in strict confidence and not individually shared with outside organisations.
