Atlas Copco selects Scania
Scania to power large air compressor range
The range complies to the emission legislation Stage 4/Tier 4f
Plant and equipment manufacturer Atlas Copco has selected Scania as the engine manufacturer to supply units to power its large portable air compressor range.
The extended partnership will result in an annual volume of roughly 800 engines for Scania.
Atlas Copco has developed a new range of portable large compressors, and deliveries will be a range of Scania 9-, 13- and 16-litre engines complying to the emission legislation Stage 4/Tier 4f.
“We are pleased with being selected Atlas Copco’s partner of choice to power its compressors. I am confident and look forward to a successful market introduction,” said Robert Sobocki, head of Scania Engines.
