Al Habtoor Motors has launched JAC Motors in the UAE, with a range of three commercial vehicles and three passenger models already on show at the company’s Dubai showroom in Al Quoz.

Al Habtoor plans on launching the full vehicle range in the coming months. The commercial models on display include the Sunray, a commercial van with a maximum weight of 4,050kg, depending on configuration.

“The decision to exhibit the vehicles in The CarZone showroom was made to allow an early response from our prospects and media friends. We want all the residents of the UAE to visit us and test and review the vehicle for themselves. All vehicles will be available for test drive and sale. It is ‘The New Star in Town’ and we are not afraid to show it off to everybody,” said Joe Rogan, director of sales at Al Habtoor Motors.

“We are confident that this strategic alliance between Al Habtoor Motors and JAC Motors will make JAC Motors a highly competitive automotive brand in the UAE passenger and commercial vehicles segment in the next five years,” he added.

JAC has been building vehicles in China over the last 50 years, and its full line up includes including light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks, as well as MPV, SUV, sedan, bus chassis, buses, engineering machinery, engines, gearboxes and other key components.
