New product has been specifically designed and manufactured for light-duty installations where available power is single-phase

Armstrong Fluid Technology, a leading company in the design, engineering and manufacturing of intelligent fluid-flow and control solutions, has announced the launch a new version of its Design Envelope pump, which will specifically serve in light-duty installations where the available power is single-phase.

In a statement, the manufacturer said due to the shift toward digitalisation and integration of fluid-flow systems, it is bringing edge computing to mechanical systems, approaching energy optimisation as a whole building challenge and advancing the practice of full lifecycle management of mechanical systems.

Focusing on HVAC, Gas Transmission and Fire safety applications, the company provides energy-efficient and cost-effective solutions to building and facility professionals around the world.

Armstrong Fluid Technology is committed to sustainability. In 2019, the company signed the Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment, a program launched by the World Green Building Council.

As a signatory to the programme, Armstrong has pledged to ensure that all its offices and manufacturing facilities operate at net-zero carbon by the year 2030.

In 2018, the company announced an initiative to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions among its global customer base by 2 million tons, targeting completion by the year 2022. It recently announced that it had reached and surpassed that goal, helping customers save 2.5 billion kWh of electricity usage, resulting in more than $300 million in cost savings.
