New attractions at Dubai Parks & Resorts to open on January 21
Dubai Parks and Resorts comprises three action-packed theme parks – Motiongate Dubai, Legoland Dubai and Bollywood Parks Dubai
Dubai Parks and Resorts (DP&R) has announced the expansion of Motiongate is complete and will open on January 21. Motiongate Dubai is now home to what’s billed as the world’s first rollercoaster inspired by Lionsgate’s John Wick franchise and the world’s fastest single-car spinning rollercoaster, inspired by Now You See Me. Both attractions are in the Lionsgate Zone.
The launch of these two, world first rollercoasters earn Motiongate Dubai the record for the most rollercoasters in a single theme park in the Middle East, said the statement from Dubai Holding Entertainment.
DP&R will also become home to the region’s only Legoland Hotel, offering families an all-encompassing Lego adventure, including a Legoland Theme Park, water Park and a 250-room Hotel offering fully themed rooms that can accommodate a family of five, the statement added.
Dubai Holding Entertainment CEO Fernando Eiroa said the opening of the world’s first John Wick rollercoaster, the world’s fastest spinning rollercoaster and the region’s only Lego-themed hotel are an example of the breadth and diversity of entertainment experiences in Dubai.
He commented, “We are confident that these new offerings will contribute to further enhancing Dubai’s competitiveness as one of the leading international tourism destinations in the world.”
