Two weeks to the nomination deadline for the 2021 Middle East Consultant Awards
The gala event will take place on January 19 at the Ritz Carlton JBR in Dubai
Two weeks remain before nominations close for the seventh edition of the annual Middle East Consultant Awards, the MEC team has confirmed. The deadline for nominations is 6pm on November 18 and no extensions will be offered.
The MEC team noted that, following the close of nominations, submissions will be carefully examined by the MEC editorial staff in the first round of eliminations. The remaining nominations will then be sent to a panel of well-known personalities from the regional construction industry, who will deliberate and meet in person to vote on the final shortlist and winners.
In a bid to help firms and individuals strengthen their respective nominations, the Middle East Consultant team conducted video interviews with the judges from the 2020 edition of the MEC Awards. Their feedback on what constituted a strong nomination and the importance of testimonials can be seen on MEConstructionNews.com’s LinkedIn page here and here. More videos will follow in the coming days.
For the 2021 edition, 25 awards are up for grabs across 23 categories and winners will be announced at a gala dinner event on January 19 at the Ritz Carlton JBR, Dubai. The event will take place in full compliance with all COVID-19 related safety protocols from the hotel and the Dubai Government. Guests who are not vaccinated will have to provide a recognised negative PCR test result from either January 18 or 19 at the registration desk to gain access, the MEC team noted.
