Work begins on $13.61mn Tolerance Neighborhood Project 2 in Umm Al Quwain

In addition to homes, the development will also feature a mosque, several shops and a sewage water treatment plant

Officials have announced that construction work has begun on the Tolerance Neighborhood Project 2 at Al Salamah in Umm Al Quwain. The development features 78 residential units and is spread over 52, 593sqm and is expected to be complete in Q1, 2022.

Sheikh Majid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla Charitable and Humanitarian Establishment announced the project, and said it is taking shape next to the Tolerance Neighborhood Project 1.

The start of work coincides with the UAE’s 49th National Day celebrations and is in response to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain.

Rashid Hamad Al Hamar, general manager of the Establishment noted that the Tolerance Neighborhood Project 2 is being implemented at a cost of $13.61m. It will feature housing units of the same architectural style and size – two-floor villas totaling 315sqm with five rooms, a kitchen, a majlis and parking space.

A mosque will be built on an area covering 425sqm, in addition to several shops on a space of 510sqm. A sewage water treatment station serving the residential neighborhood is also being developed, explained Al Hamar.
