Concordia wins annual contract for Dubai Water Canal

The project site is over 5km long starting at Sheikh Zayed Road and extending through to Jumeirah Beach Road

Concordia has won an annual cleaning services contract for the 5km long Dubai Water Canal. The UAE-based company said it has already begun partial mobilisation of cleaning services on the site this week.

According to a statement, the contract will be for an initial period of one year during which period Concordia will self-deliver the service through its own BICSc certified staff.

“Concordia Team is excited about the fact that it is an open space project adjacent to a water body, that has existing and ongoing construction work happening in real-time. This poses a unique challenge to the team at Concordia which itself has the potential to become a unique project management case study,” said Concordia general manager Sanjay Bhatia.

The facilities management (FM) firm says it currently manages over 20m sqft of residential and commercial property and states that it provides a full suite of integrated facility management services.
