Eversendai announces $116mn worth of projects in MENA region
Malaysian firm says construction order book currently stands at $631.9mn
Eversendai Corporation, the Malaysian engineering and construction firm, has announced that it has secured projects worth $116 million in the Middle East and North Africa region (MENA) region.
In a statement, the contractor said that the newly secured contracts include a facility control centre and an administrative building project for a well-known metro station in Saudi Arabia. It has also won a contract to build a 55-storey luxury commercial tower project in the North African nation of Morocco.
“Our entry into North Africa is another testament of sustaining our fundamental values and capitalising on long established client relationships in delivering projects without compromise. We remain optimistic in the regions where we operate with many new opportunities in the pipeline,” remarked A K Nathan, the Executive Chairman and Group Managing Director.
“Our world class expertise and our reputation as a world leader in the structural steel business with an excellent track record, has enabled us to take-on opportunities to further bolster our business and bring to life the works of engineering marvels,” he added.
Furthermore, the group added that it has secured two commercial towers in the Financial District, Lusail City Development, Doha.
As such, the Malaysian engineering group said that its construction order book currently stands at a near all-time high of $631.9 million.
