Al Khodari Sons awarded $33mn Saudi contract
Company says construction of computer science facility will take at least 30 months to complete
Abdullah AM Al Khodari Sons, the Saudi Arabian multi-line company, announced on Sunday that it had been awarded a contract for the construction of a $33.3mn computer science facility by the Saudi Ministry of Higher Education.
In a statement posted on the Saudi bourse website, the company said that construction would take at least 30 months from the date of the site being handed over. Other details, including the expected financial impact of the contract, would be disclosed once the contract has been signed, the company added.
The company is a multi-faceted contractor that has worked on a number of projects, including civil engineering, roads and bridges, railways, buildings and infrastructure, water and waste water treatment, oil and gas and pipelines in support of petrochemical production.
Its clients include the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Water and Electricity, Ministry of Higher Education and the Ministry of Interior.
