Saudi Arabia launches 4,775-unit residential project in Taif region

The city of Taif in Saudi Arabia has launched the Madinat Al Wouroud project, a residential community consisting of 4775 villas located on a land of 6.3 million sqm., as announced by the governor of Taif, HE Saad bin Muqbel Al Maimouni.
HE Al Maimouni stated that this project is one of the largest and most important developments witnessed by the Taif governorate and that it is being implemented by the Ministry of Housing in partnership with the private sector, according to a news report by Saudi state news agency, SPA.
Meanwhile, Mamdouh Al Sharhan, general supervisor of Real Estate Development at the Ministry of Housing said that the project will provide 4775 villa-units with prices starting upwards of $134,000 for various models.
Al Sharhan also said that there are 67 projects under constriction in various areas, providing 122,000 housing units ranging from apartments, villas and townhouses, including 14 projects in the Makkah region and two in the Taif governorate, SPA reported.
HE Al Maimouni further pointed out a number of development projects witnessed in the province, reflects the state’s keenness to provide adequate housing and provide services that will benefit the welfare of the citizens.
