Bobcat opens new EMEA parts centre in Germany
Multi-million-euro, 43,000sqm facility to supply Middle East parts hub in Dubai
Bobcat has opened a new distribution and spare parts centre for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region in Halle, Germany, at a multi-million-euro investment.
Ensuring the speedy delivery of spare parts and other components to dealers and customers throughout the region, the centre, close to Leipzig airport, is also responsible for supplying aftermarket products to the Parts Distribution Centre (PDC) in Dubai, which supplies dealers in the Middle East and East Africa for both Bobcat compact equipment and Doosan Portable power products.
According to a statement from the compact equipment specialist, over time, its dealer and customer bases in the EMEA region have grown rapidly, resulting in a significant increase in their expectations. Currently, Bobcat has around 180 dealers in 75 countries, and investing in the new facility will ensure the fastest service for the company’s dealers and their customers, it said.
The new facility, the Bobcat Aftermarket Service Centre, is a 43,000sqm that stocks more than 150,000 different spare parts and components, delivered from Bobcat factories in the USA and Europe and from certified suppliers around the world.
Paulo Florindo, EMEA aftermarket senior director, said: “With the high investment in the new distribution centre, we are also very clearly committed to EMEA as a region. It will enable us to supply our customers even faster and more flexibly with everything they need.”
