Iconic Projects modeled using Tekla’s BIM Software
Tekla has been involved –through its clients- in shaping the skylines around the world. Many of the iconic projects globally were modeled using Tekla software. For instance, the Bird’s Nest Stadium built as the main arena for the Beijing Olympics two years ago, and the Wembley Stadium renewed in 2007 in London, were both modeled using Tekla Structures. Other iconic projects modeled with the software include the world’s highest building, Burj Khalifa in Dubai, Aldar HQ, the world’s most leaning tower in Abu Dhabi; the Capital Gate, Ski Dubai, the F1 Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, and thirteen of the pavilions of the Shanghai World Expo to name few projects. “To show the commitment toward supporting OpenBIM and interoperability, Tekla has announced the launch of a free BIM software during a VIP Dinner ceremony that was held at Burj Al Arab Earlier in March this year. It was attended by top executives and influential decision makers across the leading construction companies in the Middle East.
