Wasl Properties launches project in Karama, Dubai

Wasl Duet is part of aim to regenerate established districts

The UAE-based developer Wasl Properties has announced the launch of the first building in a two-block mixed-use development in Karama, Dubai.

The company said that the building at the Wasl Duet development comprises of 12 one-bedroom and 18 two-bedroom apartments and has retail space of 1,355 square feet.

The second building, due in the near future, will have 21 one-bedroom and 30 two-bedroom apartments with a retail space of 3,649 square feet. It will also include a swimming pool, children’s play area and a gym.

The company said the project was part of its agenda to regenerate established districts of Dubai such as Karama, and will also feature a number of retail outlets to support the surrounding areas.

“The mixed-use development forms part of the company’s strategy to revitalise the district and transform it into a modern, contemporary neighbourhood,” said Zainab Mohammed, CEO of property management and marketing at Wasl Properties.

“The buildings reflect wasl properties’ rejuvenation programme, with their distinctive architectural designs, modern amenities, convenient retail facilities and plenty of parking for residents and visitors.”

Wasl Properties has already launched a total of 607 residential units spread across nine projects in Karama since 2008.

The company has an additional eight projects in the pipeline up until 2018.
