Abu Dhabi-based developer Bloom Holding has begun enabling works on its Park View mixed-use development in the university neighbourhood of Saadiyat Island.

The enabling works contract has been awarded to Dubai-based Gulf Foundation.

“We have assigned Gulf Foundation to implement the enabling works of this important project. We are pleased to have met this milestone on schedule as per our commitment to our investors,” said Sameh Muhtadi, CEO of Bloom Holding.

Gulf Foundation is expected to complete work by April this year, while all main works on the project are set for completion by September 2017.

The announcement follows the Bloom Holding’s successful launch of Park View on the opening day of Cityscape Abu Dhabi 2015.

The residential component of the Park View development will include a total of 234 residential units ranging from studios to two-bedroom apartments. Upon completion, the development will also include 217 furnished and serviced hotel apartments featuring studios, one- and two-bedroom executive apartments.

The development will also comprise a wide range of commercial and leisure facilities including retail outlets, restaurants, a gym, fitness centre and Abu Dhabi’s first ‘sky pool’ 30m above the ground.

“It is a privilege to work with Bloom on such a prestigious project,” said Salim Farah, general manager, Gulf Foundation. “We are fully committed to delivering the works within the completion date and to the quality standards expected by Bloom and their stakeholders.”
