Bentley to furnish Sweden Island villas at The World, Dubai
Car brand’s interiors division to kit out exclusive villas on The Heart of Europe manmade islands
The iconic car brand Bentley has struck a deal to furnish luxury villas being built on Sweden Island, part of Dubai’s The World project, according to the developer.
The Bentley Home interiors division will kit out 10 beachfront villas on the island, which is part of The Heart of Europe, a cluster of six European-themed islands, Kleindienst Group said.

The seven-bedroom properties, designed by Carlo Colombo, resemble giant Swedish Viking vessels, and aside from the Bentley interiors will also feature “snow and sauna rooms” and private infinity pools.
Excavation has commenced on Sweden Island, with concrete work about to begin, according to Kleindienst Group. The first villa will be ready and furnished in the first quarter of 2016, with the remaining nine villas due for completion by the end of the year.
The Heart of Europe is one of few active projects at Nakheel‘s The World development of 300 manmade islands, 4km off the coast of Dubai. Plans for many of the islands were disrupted by the financial downturn.
