The online vehicle auction company Copart has announced the opening of its new corporate regional headquarters for the Middle East, located in Dubai Industrial City.

The office is on the same site as Copart’s 26-acre auction facility, which can store over 2,500 vehicles. Located in the Dubai Auto Zone area of Dubai Industrial City, the facility houses the day-to-day operations and customer service areas for Copart’s auction business, as well as the management offices for the region.

“With the addition of this prime location in Dubai, we continue to develop our footprint in the Middle East. We are excited about the opportunity this expansion provides for our buyers and sellers across the globe,” said Vinnie Mitz, Copart’s president.

Copart first began operating in the Middle East out of Dubai three years ago, with its first auction held in the emirate in August 2012. Moving its headquarters to the new location will enable the vehicle auction firm to better serve customers in the region, it said in a statement.
