Saudi Arabia is on a “hiring spree” for oil-refinery staff in South Korea, offering generous packages to help meet ambitious expansion plans, Reuters reported.
Saudi Aramco has taken on more than 100 South Koreans since last year, according to unnamed sources quoted by the news agency.
A South Korean recruiting agency used by the state-owned oil company has around 100 jobs listed for engineers and technicians in the refinery business, it was reported.
Saudi Arabia, the world’s top crude oil exporter, is looking to become a major refining centre.
