Dubai-listed Arabtec wins two Emaar contracts worth $100m

Building firm to construct residential villas in Al Mira and Arabian Ranches developments

The Dubai-listed Arabtec Holding has won two contracts worth a total of AED375 million ($102m) to construct residential villas for Emaar properties, it said in a bourse statement.

The first project is for 1,500 townhouse villas in Emaar’s Mira residential project in Dubai, and is due to be delivered by May 2016, Arabtec said.

The second contract involves the construction of villas at Arabian Ranches under an AED166 million contract due by March 2016.

It is the latest in a line of contracts Arabtec has won from Emaar, including work on the Burj Khalifa, Dubai’s Downtown Address Hotel, Emirates Hills and Polo Villas in the Arabian Ranches.
