The property developer Sobha plans to open five global sales offices for its flagship Dubai project, where it plans to break ground on villas and apartments in the second quarter.
The Indian-owned company says it will open sales offices in London, Singapore, Riyadh, Doha and Kuwait City by July 2015 as it looks to tap international demand for UAE real estate.
The company is building the $4 billion Sobha Hartland development, located 3km from the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building.
“The company plans to break ground on its signature villas and apartments, and its high quality infrastructure in Q2 2015,” it said in a statement.
It has also received bids for infrastructure work for surrounding roads and utilities.
Sobha also said its Hartland International School, the group’s first international curriculum school, will be inaugurated in September. It is one of two international schools to be built in the development.
“The high-end community which will feature two international schools, a state of the art spa, hotels and cafes will be delivered in phases beginning in the first quarter of 2017,” it said.
