WSP wins major infrastructure contracts in the GCC

Global built environment consultancy WSP has bagged major infrastructure contracts in the Gulf region. WSP has been appointed by international contractor J&P Overseas to work on two major airport facilities in Oman and extensive highway works in Qatar.

WSP is providing detailed design on the following projects:

Director Jim Ratliff said: “We are extremely pleased to have won these contracts, delivered by our teams in the UK and Middle East. We have been developing our skills addressing the Middle East market for some time now and have established a good market presence for infrastructure and commercial development. We will be looking to build on this success through our global counterparts.”

WSP is also currently working on the new Hamad International Airport (HIA) in Doha. WSP is active across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Qatar, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
