A new development, called Wire World Park will be undertaken at Meydan district by WL Hospitality Group. Located alongside the Meydan racecourse in Dubai, Wire World is expected to be the largest man-made adventure park in the world.
“When we were looking at locations for the park, Meydan instantly stood out,” said Danny Haddad, CEO and partner at WL Hospitality Group. “We have a lot of beaches and shopping in Dubai, so we wanted to offer people a different type of activity that doesn’t exist here.”
According to a report by 7 Days – Abu Dhabi, Wire World Meydan will feature 70 outdoor activities, such as zip-lining, tarzan swings, bungee trampolines and a dual-course mountain bike park.
“Most high wire zip line parks around the world are located in forests on existing trees. We’ve had to develop everything from scratch. That being said, we’ve done all of this in the most environmentally friendly way possible, planting trees around the obstacle course,” Haddad added, as per the report.
