Red Sea Global opens Rosewood AMAALA

Rosewood AMAALA strengthens the destination’s position as a wellness destination by bringing together their approach to luxury hospitality with personalised wellbeing experiences

Red Sea Global (RSG), the regenerative tourism developer, announced the opening of Rosewood AMAALA, a luxury resort located at Triple Bay on Saudi Arabia’s northwestern Red Sea coast. The opening marks another milestone in the company’s strategy to establish AMAALA as the Kingdom’s flagship wellness destination, said RSG in a statement.

Rosewood AMAALA spans 40 hectares and features 110 keys arranged in clusters that sit gently within green sanctuaries. The pavilions, suites, and villas include private swimming pools complemented by multiple shared resort pools, indoor-outdoor living spaces that offer a sense of privacy and calm. One of the resort’s main features are 2 natural rock pools set on the Red Sea coast.

Rosewood Residences AMAALA comprises a collection of 26 branded residences, ranging from 3-5 bedroom villas, with interiors by Tristan Auer.

John Pagano, Group CEO, Red Sea Global, said, “Rosewood AMAALA strengthens the destination’s position as a world-class wellness destination by bringing together Rosewood’s distinctive approach to luxury hospitality with personalised wellbeing experiences.”

“Together with our growing collection of wellness operators and hospitality partners, the resort expands the range of experiences available to guests seeking restorative, meaningful and immersive stays along the Red Sea coast,” he added.

Guests can indulge in 8 diverse culinary experiences throughout the resort, catering to every palate. From Mediterranean dining and modern grill concepts to lounges and poolside bars offering all-day beverages and light bites, there’s something for everyone.

The resort’s Asaya spa spans 2,100sqm and features 6 treatment rooms, a private hammam, and wet areas for men and women equipped with saunas and steam rooms. Two fitness centers are also available, one exclusively for women, along with studios for yoga and movement. Social House is a secluded retreat within Asaya, booked exclusively by one group.

It provides a space for families or friends to celebrate a special occasion. Additionally, the resort offers Rosewood Explorers, a dedicated kids’ club, along with other recreational facilities. Rosewood AMAALA is committed to sustainability, fully powering its operations with solar energy. The resort also aims to achieve a remarkable 30% net conservation gain by the year 2040.
