Day 1 of Cityscape 2013 sees launch of a number of new projects

Big Project ME was on hand to see the launch of a number of new projects, including the new high-rise tower on Sheikh Zayed Road, Entisar Tower by Meydan. Phase One investor sales were also opened on this high-rise. Damac Properties also announced a serviced apartment project in Burj District. Furthermore, the luxury property developer also announced the launch of The Trump Estates, which will be the centrepiece of its 28 million square foot master development, AKOYA by Damac, which is currently under construction off Umm Sequim Road. Overall, Cityscape Global 2013 was declared a resounding success, with Wouter Molman, exhibition director, pointing out that Day 1 had seen a significant increase in attendance year on year. “The Cityscape Global exhibition is once again 50% larger this year, featuring 223 exhibitors. The largest edition in four years, year’s Cityscape Global covers six halls and a total exhibition space of 25,000sqm.” “Major project launches and announcements from developers including Emaar, Meydan, Dubai Properties Group and the RTA were received with great interest, and reaffirm Cityscape Global’s position as the annual barometer for the real estate industry in the UAE and the wider MENA region,” he added.
