Two subsidiaries of the Al Fara’a Integrated Construction Group Companies won Dubai Quality Awards at a ceremony held in Dubai.
The awards, presented by Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, recognise corporate “role models”, “providing organisations with a ‘roadmap’ to achieve excellence through the adoption of good practices and soundly-based approaches”, according to the awarding body.
The award framework is based on the European Foundation for Quality Management.
The group’s divisions, Al Fara’a General Contracting and Al Sabbah Electromechanical, received the Dubai Quality award and Dubai Quality Appreciation Award, respectively.
“Since the very first day of operation, Al Fara’a General Contracting has focused on meeting the needs of our customers,” said Adel Saleh, president and executive chairman of Al Fara’a Integrated Construction Group.
“We are very pleased that our endeavors have been acknowledged by such a prestigious body and will continue our journey of excellence with even more passion as we expand our operations into the Gulf and Asia,” Saleh added.
Al Fara’a General Contracting received its first Dubai Quality Award for construction in 2003. Last year, another Al Fara’a subsidiary, Unibeton Ready Mix, won the Dubai Quality Appreciation Award.
In total, the group consists of nine businesses and employs 18,000 people across UAE, India and Saudi Arabia.
