Medina to develop smart transport system
A smart mass transit system of metro trains and fast bus services is set to be built within the next eight years

According to an Arab News report, a higher committee for the mass transit project has been set up. It is under the chairmanship of Medina Governor Prince Faisal bin Salman, who also heads the Medina Development Authority was announced by the Cabinet. “The higher committee will supervise the implementation of the project and will set up an executive committee to be headed by the Medina mayor. The mass transit project should be completed in eight years,” Culture and Information Minister Abdul Aziz Khoja said.
