Harsco Infrastructure’s Egypt wing recently announced the acquisition of multiple ISO certifications.
“This is the full compliment of Integrated Management System (IMS) certification which is expected for a company of our calibre,” said Ken Norris, general manager of Harsco Infrastructure Egypt.
The company attained certifications of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Systems and OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.
“The introduction of the ISO integrated management system will help us to safeguard business practices that contribute towards our goal of zero harm,” said Willie Davie, Harsco Infrastructure’s Regional Health & Safety Manager in MEAI.
Harsco Infrastructure’s business in Egypt worked on acquiring these titles for most of the year, making it the third of the company’s branches – besides Qatar and UAE – to attain the certifications.
