Visitors to this week’s Construction Machinery Show, the largest dedicated event for heavy machinery and construction equipment in the GCC region, can enjoy array of live demonstrations at the event.
The opening ceremony took place on Sunday, February 16, 2014, at 7:30 p.m. at Dhahran International Exhibition Center, Dammam.
This year, Construction Machinery Show will host a special demonstration area – a first for the region – in addition to bringing together an unrivalled line-up of manufacturers and technical experts. Demonstrations will be available at the following times:

Alongside the indoor and outdoor exhibits, attendees will be able to witness an array of excavators, wheel loaders, concrete pumps, skid steers as well as earth moving equipment in action for the first time in the region, from leading manufacturers such as Case, Doosan Everdigm, Liugong, Bobcat and Ammann at a huge 15,000 sqm dedicated area. Each of these companies will bring in experts from their respective headquarters to operate their top equipment, giving construction companies, engineers, developers and construction experts the opportunity to witness first-hand the ability of these machines to operate in this region. Based on the feedback that we have received from attendees in previous years, we felt live demonstrations were critical to the decision making process and decided to bring this element to the show. No other event in the region does this at present. By demonstrating the power and ability of their machines to cope with the Middle East heat and in remote locations, these exhibitors will also create greater impact in the local market,” Islam added.
The event was opened by His Excellency Eng. Fahd bin Mohammed Al-Jubair, Mayor of the Eastern Province.
