International Heavy Equipment (IHE), part of the Zubair Automotive Group, has hosted its 10th annual IHE Product Show at the Zubair Recreation Club in Seeb.

The show featured an impressive display of heavy construction machinery, trucks and numerous products from IHE’s extensive brand portfolio, as well as interactive sessions for visiting customers.

The brands on show included Volvo and Renault Trucks, Montabert, Proman crushers, Bobcat, AUSA, JBC, Putzmeister, Ferrari cranes, Liebherr Mobile Crane, Liebherr Concrete Equipments and Hi Force.

Also included as part of the show were products from the latest addition to the IHE family of brands, Jungheinrich, a leading manucturer in the material handling equipment, warehousing and material flow engineering sectors.

Commenting on the event, Ram Mohan, IHE general manager, said, “The annual product show is by far our most significant customer event. It provides us with a perfect opportunity to not only build awareness of IHE‘s product and services to the end customers but also allows us to interact with them on a one-on-one basis in a casual environment.”

On hand were IHE sales and service personnel, along with representatives from the manufacturers, to advise and support customers with their queries.

“In line with the country’s developments in the infrastructure field, IHE is continually looking for opportunities to better serve its customers,” said Mohan. “As a result, aligning people, technology and tooling in line with brand-wide product improvements and growing demand in the market has always been a top priority at IHE.”

The company recently added several experienced engineers and 15 new Omani technicians to meet the requirements of its growing customer base.

IHE has also upgraded its existing facilities with new workshop bays at Ghala, tooling additions at Sohar , as well as ongoing work on its new truck facility at Misfa, which will be 55,000m2 when completed in 2015.
