Case launches new backhoe
Entry level 570T for MEA markets
Case Construction has launched a new entry level backhoe loader, the 570T, aimed at markets in the Middle East and Africa.
The new machine is designed to win over customers looking for productivity, versatility and fast return on investment, with a number of machine features set to attract fleet owners and operators.
The 570T backhoe is powered by the FPT Industrial S8000 Series engine, which provides superior performance, high torque and best-in-class fuel economy. The turbocharged, four-cylinder engine delivers up to 64.1kW (86 hp) and relies on the fuel-efficient engine technology of sister company FPT Industrial. Africa and the Middle East markets and is well suited for a diversified range of applications.
The engine is equipped with an air-to-air aftercooler system that optimises the air induction with benefits in terms of efficiency and reduced fuel consumption.
The Power Shuttle transmission which provides four speeds forward and reverse, and delivers up to 402 Nm of torque at just 1300 rpm and has enough power and torque to get the job done in less time.
At the front of the machine, the S-shaped boom has been designed for premium digging and lifting performance. Its heavy-duty structure ensures strength and durability with thick, multi-plate fabrications, castings, and forgings which are conveniently placed in the most stressed points and include larger cylinders hinge plates in the main arm, and bigger reinforcing plates on both ends.
The 570T can reaches deeper than any other backhoe loader in this segment says Case, with as much as 5.58 metres dig depth with the Extendhoe dipper version. Customers looking for maximum flexibility can count on the lifting hook welded to the bucket linkage when they need the rear arm to lift and handle suspended objects, a unique feature by Case. On the front side, the straight loader arm ensures loading capacity up to 3700 kg and the best-in-class tipping height of 3.48 metres.
Compared to parallel arms offered by the competition, the arm of the Case 570T improves visibility to the bucket and requires less maintenance having fewer greasing points.
The front axle is designed to handle heavy-duty applications even in extreme conditions. The steering cylinder is a double effect type and is mounted above the center pivot in a well-protected area behind the beam. The tight steering angle with oscillation up to ±13 degrees ensures great stability on the roughest terrains.
The 4WD option and the 100% locking differential fitted to the rear axle further increase performance and give extra traction in all-weather, muddy terrains. The hydraulic circuit delivers high oil flow up to 123 litres per minute, providing enough power to handle any attachment.
Other features include a large size cab, with wide door openings that allow easy entrance and, equipped with door retainers, improve air ventilation. Air conditioning is available as an option. In the cab, ROPS/FOPS design offers maximum safety and protection against roll over and falling objects. The large-sized glass windows and the unique one-piece rear glass, with no pillars, provide excellent all-round visibility.
