Kalmar debut in Bahrain
First reach stacker forklift sold to construction company
Bahrain’s seller of Kalmar reach stacker forklifts, Zayani Motors (ZM), has handed over its reach stacker to Nasser Abd Mohammed BSC in the presence of the company’s CEO, Mohamed Mansoor Abd Mohamed Al Buhameed along with ZM representatives.
The reach stacker can be used for handling intermodal cargo containers in small terminals or medium-sized ports, and according to ZM reach stackers out beat the normal cranes in safety aspects and are commonly used inside the sea ports for handling containers.
Now, due to their flexibility and higher stacking in addition to their storage capacity when compared to other forklifts, this kind of forklift has been sold for the first time to a construction company outside of the sea port in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
