Secondary infrastructure works begin at key plots in Diyar Al Muharraq

The B3 project consists of 38 housing plots and scope of work will include construction of an inner road and key services such as lighting, sewage and rainwater networks

Bahrain-based developer Diyar Al Muharraq has said that it has begun secondary infrastructure works for the key B3 residential building plots within its integrated city project in the Kingdom.

In a statement, the developer said the B3 project consists of 38 housing plots, with sizes ranging from 454sqm to 979sqm. The development offers an array of benefits and features in line with its strategic location and proximity to Diyar Al Muharraq’s main entrance, Marassi Al Bahrain, and Al Naseem, making it an ideal investment opportunity, the statement continued.

Furthermore, the community will offer close access to hotels, mosques, community centres, stores, and malls, it added.

Work will begin later in January 2023 and will continue through to Q3 2023. Jahecon has been appointed as the main contractor, and AECOM, as the designer and supervisor, the firm stated.

In late September 2022, Diyar Al Muharraq said it completed secondary infrastructure works at Mozoon and, in early October 2022, the cancellation of the Flexi Permit system was welcomed by the Bahrain Contractors Society.

CEO Engineer Ahmed Ali Alammadi said: “We are pleased to announce the start of secondary infrastructure works on our B3 plots, with an expected completion date during the third quarter. The landmark project will provide potential owners with plots that meet all their needs and requirements.”

“At Diyar Al Muharraq, we maintain the highest quality standards on all blueprints and projects within the Masterplan. We also aim to offer a wide and extensive range of residential and commercial investment opportunities,” he noted.

Alammadi stated that the scope of work for the secondary infrastructure works include construction of the inner road, as well as key services such as road lighting, sewage and rainwater networks, electricity and water networks, as well as setting up of telecommunications networks in partnership with BNET.

The development is a modern-day, urban city in Bahrain. It aims to offer residents and investors a luxury lifestyle, while offering the feel of a local community with traditional family values. There will be a mix of residential and commercial facilities across the development, creating a wide mix of investment opportunities, Diyar Al Muharraq concluded.

In late November 2022, Bahrain said it would invest $312mn into new education facilities by 2030.
