Regional director Jens Bawidamann tells CMME that sales suggest that Oman is set for a boom in 2013.
German concrete pump manufacturer Putzmeister has revealed that it enjoyed a successful InterMat Middle East. .
Regional director Jens Bawidamann revealed to CMME that Putzmeister secured large orders at the event with customers from Oman ordering a number of machines.
These included the company’s brand new M36-4, M42-5 and M56-5 truck-mounted concrete pumps. Putzmeister’s M49-5, was also among those ordered.
These orders suggest the outlook in Oman, which is making considerable investment in its infrastructure and housing, is looking extremely positive for the year ahead.
“Oman is booming,” he said. “I think a lot of people could be surprised by the market in 2013.”
