Speedy International says that it is enjoying a considerable amount of interest in its on-site Speedy in a Box facility at this year’s Adipec.
The Speedy in a Box portable unit provides a temporary home for site services, a managed supply chain, health and safety controls, and security of assets, all delivered through an on-site facility.
The asset management and equipment rental firm returned to the show this year following the product’s debut in the market in 2010.
Speedy in a Box has proved a popular solution with contractors and site managers across the region. The service is currently in use by a Dubai infrastructure giant. It was dispatched for a recent shutdown work in Jebel Ali, Dubai, where it facilitated the onsite management of Speedy assets and rental for a 45-day period. Speedy in a Box is also being used at the construction site of a new hospital in Al Ain.
“Speedy in a Box is a unique asset service, specially designed for projects in remote locations, making it an ideal solution for many of the region’s desert-based developments,” said Andy Carter, Managing Director of Speedy International. “We received tremendous response from the industry to its regional launch at ADIPEC 2010 and look forward to returning to the show with a refined Speedy in a Box service,” he added.
