Specialist construction expert services firm, CBBG Group, has announced an expansion of its services with the opening of its fourth office in London, following the opening of its offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Doha.
Established in September 2019, the CBBG Group has worked hard to establish itself in the Middle East and is now looking to continue its growth globally through its London office, the firm said.
The London office will be led by Lance Crane, who is the seventh partner to join the firm and is said to bring a wealth of experience to the business. Crane is an award-winning, RICS accredited, construction expert witness.
In August 2022, Dar Al Arkan said it was eyeing aggressive regional and international expansion.
Crane joins with 20 years of experience, during which he has acted as an independent expert witness on several major projects; has given expert testimony to Queen’s counsel whereby matters settled entirely in favour of his assessment and has prepared independent forensic analysis for use in mediation, adjudication, and arbitration over the past eight years, said the company.
Ken Clarke, CBBG Partner, said: “This is a significant development for CBBG both in terms of the hire of Lance and the expansion of our footprint into the UK market. Lance is someone who we know very well and is highly respected in our field. His blend of UK and international experience makes him an ideal fit for CBBG, and I am delighted to welcome him to the partnership”
Crane is said to have experience of major projects including commercial, residential, oil and gas, infrastructure, land reclamation, marine, rail, and aviation. He has worked throughout the UK and internationally in the Middle East, Africa, the Caribbean, the Far East, and Australia.
In mid-August 2022, WiredScore appointed John Hillard to lead its expansion into the Middle East.
Lance Crane, CBBG Partner, added: “I am thrilled to be joining the partnership at CBBG. I know the partners well from my time in the Middle East and I have watched with real pleasure the growth of the business since its launch in 2019. CBBG have a great portfolio of clients and an excellent team of experts. I look forward to contributing to the continued development of the firm in the UK and internationally”
Late in August 2022, CBRE said it was continuing its focus on Middle East strategic development with a new country head in Saudi Arabia.
