Bloom Holding appoints Edrafor Emirates as enabling works contractor for Bloom Living
Abu Dhabi residential community scheduled to be completed by 2024, developer says
Bloom Holding, the Abu Dhabi-based real estate development company, has announced that it has signed up Edrafor Emirates, the UAE-based piling contractor, as the first contractor for enabling works of its fully integrated residential community, Bloom Living, in Abu Dhabi.
In a statement, Bloom Holding said that the contractor will commence enabling works in September 2022, ahead of the launch of the community’s second phase, marking a major milestone in the development of Bloom Living.
The 2.2 million sqm development will feature more than 4,000 homes, including townhouses, villas and apartments. The community’s architecture has been inspired by the Mediterranean, the developer said, adding that it will feature traditional Spanish design with contemporary finishings.
The gated community is located within Zayed City and is close to Abu Dhabi International Airport.
Bloom said that this contract award comes just five months after the successful launch of Cordoba, $2.5 billion, adding that the project remains on track for completion in Q4 2024.

The developer added that the main works package of Cordoba is now at tender stage, and that the contractor would be appointed before the end of 2022.

Wakim also highlighted that Bloom Living had been designated as an investment zone allowing buyers of all nationalities to purchase residential units in the development.
