The latest version of one of the most popular workhorses in the world will soon be seen on the streets and construction sites of the UAE after dealer Genavco and Isuzu unveiled the new D-Max pick-up in Dubai.

Targeted at both, individual and commercial usage, this new model drives forward the engineering evolution of the highly successful D-MAX predecessors. The new D-MAX, available in 4×4 and 4×2 variants, is fully equipped to take on load and get the job done, whenever required. It features a choice of power options, such as 2.5L, and 3L diesel engines, with turbo and inter-cool turbo variants for an effortless surge of strength. Depending on the purpose and driver-preference, the D-Max is offered in both manual and automatic gear selection, along with an array of colours to choose from.

“The new Isuzu D-MAX is an affirmation to Genavco and Isuzu’s commitment to its customers in the industrial sector and in line with both Genavco and Isuzu’s policy in providing integrated solutions to serve these customers and meet their needs in terms of the required specifications and after sales services to boost their confidence and secure their business. It makes no compromise, be it in performance or comfort, making it a great asset not only for the company but also for personal driving pleasure,” said Isam Abu Nabah, president of Genavco.

The double cabin D-MAX will unveile, with models displayed in four showrooms across Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, for two weeks in April. Invited customers will have the privilege to win a trip to one of Isuzu worldwide factories once they step in any of the showrooms to take a closer look at the new vehicle.

To add to the convenience, the Isuzu D-MAX is priced at a reasonable starting sum of AED 58,000, “an attractive price bracket, taking into consideration its performance, comfort and fuel-efficiency benefits”, claims the company.

Genavco said the Isuzu division witnessed tnessed 20% increase in sales for the year 2012 compared to 2011.

“This is due to the various activities which are executed by members of Genavco’s marketing and sales team including “Isuzu Roadshow”, an event that takes place several times a year and has proved to be a great success since its launch in 2000,” said the company.
