Hyva has extended its HB crane range with three new models of mid-size hydraulic cranes with capacities of 10-, 15- and 20-tonnes. The newly designed Core Line cranes, developed for No CE markets such as the Middle East, have new oil tanks and stabiliser controls, load limit devices, and a control station that improves comfort during operation, the company said.
“This re-styling is both aesthetic and functional, positioning the Core Line alongside our EDGE Line in appearance and also raising the functionality and performance of Hyva’s No CE Cranes,” said Giuseppe Bevacqua, Global Product Manager for Cranes.
Radio remote controls – an HC-D4 Hetronic or Scanreco – are also available, and the cranes support a range of accessories including winch, extra functions for attachments, oil cooler, working lights, and an audible or visual warning device, the company said.
The HB102, HB152 and HB202 models are all rack and pinion without linkage and, across the range, the cranes have between one and six extensions. A jib version is also available for models HB152 with E3J2 and HB202 with E5J2.
In September 2020, the company introduced the 60tm family in its EDGE Line of truck mounted cranes, and in April 2021, Hyna said it delivered 45 truck cranes in Saudi Arabia. Research from Interact Analysis found that mobile hydraulics fared well in 2021, with strong growth driven by a boom in the material handling and construction equipment markets.
