ENOC lube plant awarded by Shell
Major lube plant in Fujairah awarded by Shell
ENOC Lubricants and Grease Manufacturing Plant (ELOMP) has received an award from Shell Markets Middle East for services towards its toll blending contract.
The plant, located in the Fujairah Port, manufactures advanced lubricants and grease, and ELOMP has been working with since 2011, providing bulk marine blending and supply services initially, followed by drum products last year.
The award, for operational excellence and adoption of best quality practices, followed the recent awarding to ELOMP of the Dubai Quality Appreciation Programme certificate, underlining its high quality standards,
ELOMP achieved 100% right first-time batch pass ratio for Shell products.
“The appreciation award from Shell is strong testament to ELOMP’s credentials as a trusted lubricant supplier to major global organisations,” said Mohammed El Sadek, director, ENOC Lubricants – Marketing.
“We are thankful to Shell for their support and remain committed to ensure the highest quality across our operation. The award has further strengthened our confidence in meeting and exceeding client expectations.”
The plant is spread over an area of 63,500sqm, and has a current blending capacity of 150,000t of mineral and synthetic lubricants-based oils, and 5,000t of grease per annum.
With the completion of its new construction phases by early 2015, it will have the capacity to produce over 250,000t of lubricants and grease, which is almost 18% of the total lubricants production in the UAE.
